Wippit comienza la guerra de las tiendas de música en Europa
wippit es una nueva tienda de música en internet de pago por descarga y destinada al mercado europeo. ha entrado haciendo ruido y con unos precios muy competitivos al colocar grandes hits a 54 centavos de dólar ("hey ya!" de Outkast, por ejemplo), con varias gamas de precios hasta llegar a los 99 centavos. parte con un catálogo de 150,000 canciones y permite el pago con el teléfono móvil (aunque esta opción sólo está disponible en el reino unidos de momento). se convierte asà en la principal competencia de od2, la tienda creada por peter gabriel y que lleva vendidas 1 millón de canciones en este 2004. ...
