Yahoo! Widget - GTK Widget Desktop

i just loved yahoo! widget, but after i map my problem and the feature of widget, which we can said widget is a javascript bundled with several image. i just think of a technology that more open, i think gtk widget can become a good project, but i dont know, is there still? for me, mozilla widget desktop may be a good starting name also. but how ever, after trying and now i am using yahoo widget engine, i see the lack of feature in yahoo esp for me that have a integration blood. this is my question: how to integrate the yahoo widget login and share the session logion, but the widget doesnt login to yahoo server but to my sso server. i think we need to change the yahoo widget become ldap based login. mmm. i see the opportunity for linux guy, because yahoo dont produce the widget for linux, ...
